Will Covid-19 Slow Showings?

Updated: Apr 9

Q.  My home is listed for sale in Jax Golf. Will the mayor's stay at home mandate slow showings?

A.  Although real estate services are considered an essential service, showings may still slow.  Realtors are encouraged to work remotely when possible and to closely adhere to the following guidance for safe showings as outlined by our National Association of Realtors.

I currently have vacant homes listed for sale and they are still being shown, both in person and online.  With today's technology Realtors have the ability to take a client through a home virtually, reducing the need to meet in person.

For those in-person showings, we've increased safety precautions such as practicing social distancing, no overlapping showings, and providing hand washing stations and sanitizer for all visitors.  I would advise speaking with your Realtor to come up with a strategy to a address any concerns. Good luck and stay well.

Whether you're looking to buy, sell, invest or rent, RE/MAX is here for you. From virtual showings and electronic contracts, to e-signatures and remote offers, we'll work hard to find the options to meet your specific needs while exceeding all safety concerns.
