What To Do About Neighbor's Air B&B

Q. My neighbor is renting his home as an Air B&B, needless to say the noise and traffic is unbearable. What can I do? It's like living next to a motel!

A.  As a homeowner you a have a right to quiet enjoyment so there are steps you can take. First, contact the homeowner to let him what's happening. If he's an absentee owner he may not be aware of the problems his guests are causing.  Also, if you live in a community with a homeowner's association, review your covenants and restrictions regarding short term rentals. Most should have a section outlining what is and isn't allowed.  Finally you can always move if the above measures prove futile. Good luck.
