Should You Rent Your #Jax Home?
Q. My home is listed but has not sold. My Realtor suggested I rent it but I'm not sure what to do. Any advice?
A. If your home is in a good location and is priced competitively for its condition it should sell in today's market. However, the question is what did your Realtor do to market your home? Unfortunately I'm seeing more and more homes that were listed not sell due to poor marketing. So before you put it up for rent, I would suggest meeting with your Realtor and your Realtor's Broker to review their marketing plan, showing results and feedback. You need to have a frank conversation about what was done up to this point. If your marketing only included the MLS and a sign in your yard, your home has not received the exposure it deserves.
