Listed But No Offers

Q.  My home is listed with no offers. My Realtor suggested I take it off the market and re-list in the Spring. What do you think?

A.  In my opinion that is the absolute worse thing you can do.  Unless there is a reason you need to come off the market such as making needed repairs, re-listing in the Spring is a mistake.  Most homeowners wait until Spring to put their home on the market so why would you re-list when your competition is greatest?  This time of year there are fewer homes on market giving you greater odds of securing a buyer. So if you're motivated to sell and your home is in show condition, my suggestion would be to meet with your Realtor to come up with an aggressive plan to get your home sold now. Good luck.
