I-Buyers On Pause

Updated: Apr 2

Q. I was planning to sell my home to an i-buyer but heard they're not buying homes due to Covid-19. Is this true?

A.  Yes, for the most part many of the institutional or i-buyers have put their home purchasing plans on pause.  This is not just here in Jacksonville but throughout the country.  Until the impact of Covid-19 is assessed, some home buyers and sellers may face uncertainty.  These are interesting times but homes are still be bought and sold so there should be no reason why you couldn't list your home for sale with your Realtor.  With inventory levels and interest rates at record lows, it really is a great time to sell.  Good luck and stay well.

Whether you're looking to buy, sell, invest or rent, RE/MAX is here for you. From virtual showings and electronic contracts, to e-signatures and remote offers, we'll work hard to find the options to meet your specific needs while exceeding all safety concerns.
