How To Vet A #Jax Business

Q. I see a lot of companies advertising on my neighborhood website. How do I know who's legit?

A.  As with any business your first step should be to ensure they are licensed, bonded and insured.  You can verify any Florida business license at www.myfloridalicense.com.  Ask for a copy of their current insurance certificate and verify its accuracy.  If a worker is hurt on your property and does not have proper insurance you may be liable.  Also ask for references or examples of their work. You can verify their reputation by searching Google and social media. It's up to you to do your homework as even a licensed and insured business can give bad service. Good luck.
