How Do You Choose An Agent?
Updated: Dec 26, 2018
Q. I will be selling in March but it seems like everyone I know has their real estate license. How do I choose a listing agent?
A. As with any service provider you should interview at least three candidates. Reach out to the agents who sell in your area or have a presence in your neighborhood. Look for one with the education, skills and track record selling homes such as yours. Ask for proof of sales, references and their written marketing plan. Some firms boast agent count but have no production so you sure don't want to be someone's training ground. If you were having surgery would you want a surgeon who has done one surgery or 100? Doing your homework now will save you disappointment later. I cover these topics and many more in my free guide "Things to Consider When Selling Your Home". You can get your free guide at www.jaxsellers.com. Good luck.
