Virus Bright Spot on Housing

Q. Will there be a lasting impact from Covid-19 on our local housing market?

A. Many of you are reading today’s newspaper in a house that is either too big or too small, siting next to a spouse or partner who you can’t stand.  When all this is over we'll see a surge in the number of divorces and people downsizing or upsizing. Some of you have come to realize that you need a home office, room for an aging parent, or space to home school.  Couple that with the baby boom that will occur in 9 months and our local housing market will reap the benefits. I know this to be true since I've heard from many readers who fit into the above categories (you know who you are).  This will have a positive impact on Jacksonville's housing market in late 2020 heading into 2021. Stay well.

Whether you're looking to buy, sell, invest or rent, RE/MAX is here for you. From virtual showings and electronic contracts, to e-signatures and remote offers, we'll work hard to find the options to meet your specific needs while exceeding all safety concerns.
