Bond Money Is Going Fast!
Q. A few weeks ago you wrote about a bond money program. Can you give me more info?
A. Sure thing. The Florida Housing Finance Corporation re-launched the Hardest-Hit Fund Down Payment Assistance Program or (HHF-DPA) in five Florida counties including Clay and Duval. The program provides up to $15,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance to eligible first-time home buyers. A first-time buyer is someone who has never owned a home or has not owned a home in the past three years. There are other qualifying requirements such as a minimum FICO score, household income and purchase limits, so please check with your lender to see if you qualify. The funds are only available for a limited time so don't wait. Good luck.
